Dr. Hubbard is a Professor who joined the Department in 1989. His primary teaching responsibilities include Environmental Conservation (WL 110), Human Dimensions in Wildlife and Fisheries (WL 430), and Wetland Ecology and Management (WL 712). He is involved with advising and mentoring of both undergraduate and graduate students, is a coadvisor of the Wildlife Conservation Club, and has an 80% teaching - 20% research appointment.

Dr. Hubbard's research primarily revolves around wetland ecology and management and in the human dimensions area. His expertise involves a wide variety of biotic and abiotic interactions. Dr. Hubbard and his students have conducted research in a wide variety of settings.
